I know, I know. I’ve been gone way too long. My other project’s got the best of me, but rest assured I have missed you. It’s hard to believe that Mother’s Day is this Sunday! My mom requested books this year, and since I believe in supporting my local book store off to Diesel at the Brentwood Country Mart it was. If you ever find your self on the west side of a LA, treat yourself, and stop in for a visit!
For those of you with non reader moms, I’ve curated a list of of other gifts she’ll be sure to love. I’m particularly found of Farmhouse Pottery’s glazed ceramic pitcher (in 3 sizes), and Three J NYC’s super soft and cozy cotton poplin PJ short set. For those moms with a sweet tooth there is nothing more satisfying than Freds, from BNY, white and dark chocolate swirl popcorn. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
The crazy cool gift Love (created by world-renowned product designer, Yves Behar) is on Indiegogo now and has already been 1720% funded. Love is the first high-end, smartphone controlled record player/stylist that you can use with or without its app. It’s worthy of a look see even if you’re not in the market!
Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms!

Emma Stone must have an amazing stylist to keep up with her busy red-carpet schedule these days as she attends back to back premieres for her upcoming movies Crazy, Stupid, Love and Friend’s With Benefits.
Emma looked amazing at the Friends With Benefits’s premiere in NYC wearing this season’s hottest trend–red and pink. The color-block Giambattista Valli Fall 2011 runway ensemble of a vivid peplum skirt and sweater was perfectly complimented with nude Christian Louboutins. It is a good idea to stick with neutral accessories when wearing the color-block look which is always a bold statement on its own.
Also in NYC for the Crazy, Stupid, Love premiere, Emma went from hot pink to a sultry black, wearing an architectural Tom Ford embroidered frock and metallic Christian Louboutin pumps. The look captured a sophisticated avant garde side of the 23-year-old actress who stars as Hannah in the flick, the object of Ryan Gosling’s affection. (Lucky Girl)
In real life Ryan was quoted saying “show me someone that wouldn’t give it all up for Emma Stone, and I’ll show you a liar,” referring to her presence upon walking into the room upon meeting her. Well, in that case Emma is doing something right and we should definitely follow her lead!
