Wowza! I, along with millions of others, could not believe how last night’s Oscar’s ended. Talk about awkward and embarrassing. At least it garnered some unforgettable television. It is astonishing the ripple effect one mistake (albeit a colossally huge one) has on an evening.

My heart went out to so many. Mostly, Moonlight producers, Barry Jenkins, Tarell Alvin McCraney and its cast for its moment of glory being tainted. Hopefully, it will be remembered more for the brave, powerful and artful masterpiece that it was, and not the unfolding of its journey to the stage to accept its Best Oscar award. Secondly, to La La Land; imagine believing you won the golden ticket, and having it be snatched from your hands. Producer Jordan Horowitz handled it like a true mensch.

I felt horrible for Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway. So many of last night’s and today’s head lines read as if it were their fault. Let’s remember they were given the wrong card to read. And, to Jimmy Kimmel, he did a fantastic job of hosting the show with his subtle humor, his quick wit and all around entertaining personality. I hope his almost flawless hosting gig will be remembered not only for the last 10 minutes.

Lastly, I do feel bad for whom ever at Pricewater Cooper mixed up those envelopes. I’m sure, not only do they feel dreadful, but that they received an earful last night! Do you think they still have a job today?

Amid all the excitement from last night, I almost forgot to mention my top ten dresses from the evening. There were quite a few gorgeous gowns (2 of my what I want to see selections were worn), but my favorites were worn by Brie Lawson and Kristen Dunst — BBEG (basic black evening gown).
