Kitchens are the heart of your home. It is the center of activity. It’s the room where food is prepared for loved ones, dining with family and friends, and, who knew it would be the most popular room, at anytime, for socializing with friends (though with all the delicious aromas emanating from there it’s not surprising).
I’ve always had a theory why kitchens are often the most popular room at a party: a kitchen is like your favorite old sweater — it’s comfortable, it’s warm, conjures up treasured memories, and it’s a familiar place to be even in unfamiliar surroundings.
No wonder most experts agree, if you’re going to redecorate one room in your home make it your kitchen. Especially if placing it on the market – it is the number one room to invest in to ensure a greater resale value.
For me, and a huge trend at the moment, there is nothing better than a white kitchen. Its clean, crisp, yet soothing vibes draw me in and can keep me there indefinitely. Another plus, white makes your kitchen appear larger. And, with all those people hanging, who doesn’t love that?
