Please, forgive my absence. I know I’ve been M.I.A, but I was attending the most amazing, insightful, heart opening and self-fulfilling seminar called Insight – The Awakening Heart. Please, do your self a favor and check it out, with seminars held across the globe there is sure to be one within traveling distance.

I just made my Oscar party, and won the award voting pool with a total of 19 correct choices (with 2 last-minute changes using my intuition skills from Insight). Of course there were the regulars on the best dressed list – Charlize, Cate and Naomi – looking stunning in their perspective dresses, but it was refreshing to see some new faces on the list.

Mindy Kaling, looking elegant, in the sleek Elizabeth Kennedy gown with bow train. Margot Robbie, stunning in Tom Ford, and Olivia Munn rocking a bright one shouldered (popular trend of the night) Stella McCartney gown.

One of the most powerful moments of the night was Lady Gaga singing her nominated song “Til It Happens To You’ from the movie ‘The Hunting Ground’. Not only did she sing the hell out of that song (actually crying), I loved the she wore a pantsuit (modern and elegant) with a train designed by her stylist, the ever talented, Brandon Maxwell!
