It took one listen to Leon Bridges single, Coming Home, to know I needed more of his smooth, soulful croon and Sam Cooke like tunes. Bridges, an American gospel and soul singer from Fort Worth, Texas was still playing dives when the world was introduced to the single, Coming Home. Soon the title track landed on Spotify’s Top 10 Most Viral Tracks and before he knew it he was signed to major record label Columbia. I’m sure the rest will be history, and with the success he is garnishing now, it will be quite the future!

This is how I enjoy waking up of late: dancing to Beck’s new single — Dreams. Love how he switched gears from Emmy winning Morning Phase (which I also loved) in a heartbeat.

If you’re in New York this summer take a visit to MOMA, and look in on Yoko Ono’s One Woman Show: 1960–1971 May 17–September 7, 2015.
It is Moma’s first exhibition dedicated exclusively to the work of Yoko Ono featuring nearly 125 of her early objects, works on paper, installations, performances, audio recordings, and films, alongside rarely seen archival materials. Definitely piqued my interest.
