There is something about A Jerome Dreyfuss bag that always captures my fancy. Seems lately when I fall for a bag it turns out to be designed by him. My latest crush is on his Victor bag, and the slightly larger Nestor bag. Love their roundish silhouette and simple hardware. And, I’d be amiss if I didn’t mention the high quality leather. This bag will be a classic for years to come.
I also covet his fringe detail key chain (below). If you have a mom with flair this will make her a great Mother’s Day gift!
The movie opens Friday, May 8th in Los Angeles and New York. It will be interesting to see how it differs (besides YSL going into broader depth of his life and relationship with Pierre Berge), and fairs to the Weinstein movie YSL ( which I loved) released late last year.
Saint Laurent, directed by Bertrand Bonello, focuses on Saint Laurent’s life from 1967 to 1976, and highlights two of his most famous collections — The Liberation collection from 1971, and the Russian Ballet collection from 1976.
