The Mod Squad — Pastels & Stripes

The 70’s craze may be taking over fashion with hemlines grazing the floor, and midi lengths gaining favor. Yet I wouldn’t bid adieu to the mini just yet –  they still have plenty of flavor. (Though I implore you when opting for a shorter hem line, do not, I repeat do not, reach for a bandeau mini. That is just all sorts of scary!)

Today’s mini must have a little wiggle room. And, while I’m dispensing out wisdom, if while wearing one of the above darling, but short skirts, guys start dropping pencils or keys at your feet, they didn’t suddenly become all thumbs, there are ulterior motives at hand. Just saying.

I’ve never been a huge fan of pastels, but there is something about these pastels and slouchy striped sweater combos that I am lovin. It’s a modern take on mod. The perfect ying and yang combo.
