Abbey Lee Kershaw in Hugo Boss Spring 2015 Campaign
The princesses of the baby doll-like model movement (circa 2004), Abbey Lee Kershaw and Gemma Ward, have staged a comeback after a few years hiatus to concentrate on their acting careers.
Abbey Lee Kershaw stars in the Spring 2015 advertising campaign for Hugo Boss after opening the German’s brand Spring/Summer collection preview in NYC last September. Photographic duo Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin shot the ads for the second season in a row. The fresh and simple campaign adds a modern twist as Abbey sports a blunt blond wig while standing robot like before a classic studio backdrop. Abbey previously fronted the Hugo Boss Fall campaign back in 2011.
Abbey Lee will be featured in the latest Mad Max installation — Mad Max: Fury Road — along side Charlize Theron and Rosie Huntington-Whitley, and is starring in present and upcoming Saint Laurent and Jill Stuart campaigns.

Gemma Ward returned to the runway after a six year hiatus to open Prada’s Spring 2015 collection, striding through the sand-covered dune set in a long black duster. It was no surprise that the Australian model also stars in Muccia’s Prada Spring 2015 campaign. Ms.Ward also starred in the designers Fall 2014 Campaign.
Gemma quit fashion back in 2008 after ruling the roost between 2004 and 2008, earning $25,000 to walk the runway and fronting the first issues of Vogue China and India, to focus on her acting career. Ward appeared in films like Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and The Great Gatsby.
Ward also fronts Aussie brand Country Road’s latest Spring 2015 campaign, and stars in a short movie for the brand featuring summer life in Australia with her infant daughter. No doubt there will be plenty more acting and modeling offers in her future!
