RIP Pete Seeger

Pete Seeger, legendary folk singer and political activist died yesterday of natural causes; he was 94. Seeger was  considered to be one of the pioneers of contemporary folk music who inspired legions of activist singer-songwriters. His musical career spanned over 80 years. Seeger’s best known songs include “Where Have All the Flowers Gone,” “Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is a Season)” and “If I Had a Hammer (The Hammer Song).”

He will be missed, but will live on in our hearts through the songs and lessons in activism he left behind. RIP
