Style Trend — Vans

I’ve been thinking a lot, about replacing my Vans which I wore to death (literally). I have been wearing my Chucks (Converse lace-up sneakers) in their absence, but want to purchase one of the dressier versions of slip on sneakers available. They are spot on perfect to wear with my leather leggings, jeans, and even skirts!

The hard part is choosing which one?? I’ve narrowed it down to Carvela Kurt Geiger’s Zebra striped ponyskin slip ons, Vince’s Blair perforated sneaker, Steve Maddden’s Ecentric cheetah print slip-ons, or River Island’s black pony hair sneakers.

The black pony haired slip ons will work with a lot more, but I’ve been wanting to add a little zest to my wardrobe with Cheetah print. Decisions, decisions. Weigh in, please!!

Clockwise from top left: Steve Maddden Ecentric Slip-On Sneakers $99.00 Lord & Taylor, Black Pony Hair Slip On Sneakers $90.00 River Island, Lanvin Metallic Jacquard Slip-On Sneaker $495.00 Bergdorf Goodman, Vince Blair Perforated Slip-On Sneaker $195.00 Neiman Marcus, Rag & Bone Kent Slip-On Sneaker $275.00 Shop Bop,Top Shop Katch Slip-On Trainers $136.00, Carvela Kurt Geiger Ponyskin Slip On Sneakers $189.00 Luisaviaroma, Common Projects Suede Sneakers $430.00 Net-a-Porter, Vans Metallic Slip-On Sneaker $59.95 Nordstroms, Mother Of Pearl Indigo & White Floral slip-On Sneakers $395.00 Ssense

  1. I posted about the running shoe trend today which is definitely in the same arena as wearing sneakers with more dressy outfits. Love your picks!

I’m a big fan of the cheetah print and think it works like a neutral – especially if you wear a lot of denim or black.
