Playing a high-heels obsessed New Yorker (aka Carrie Bradshaw) for almost a decade, Sarah Jessica Parker, has become synonymous with shoes. Actually, as a fashion icon with impeccable taste, she has become a trend setter. It’s about time she ventured into the shoe business.
On Friday she and her business partner, George Malkemus CEO of Manolo Blahnik, previewed her collection of shoes and handbags (named SJP) with a small group of press. While pics were forbidden, the duo said “While exact retail points need to be worked out, the range is $150 (for a “gateway shoe,” a suede flip-flop) to $400 for a pair of pumps.” Read more about the press showing at Fashionista.
Shoes will be sold at Nordstrom coming this January.
