Guest Editor Chelsea: Loving Pre-Fall Jackets

In real time it’s still summer, in fashion time it’s already fall. The fashion world moves so quickly that designers have created a sub-season and coined the phrase “Pre-Fall” to aide in the transition from summer to fall. Pre-Fall is a great time to buy jackets that can be worn now on cool summer nights, and later on warmer winter days. Look for jackets that are not too bulky so they can be molded or layered to work around any outfit.
Joie’s Barker jacket is both fashionable and functional, the ideal combo for any season. With  anorak styling, an optional hood, and treated nylon (bestowing it with a shiny look) it will add a chic military vibe to any ensemble.A little black jacket that goes a long way, the Damaris, is a fall must-have. It’s ultra soft basket weave cotton and embellished trim works perfectly with a dress or skinny jeans and heels.
Tart Collection’s white peplum cotton jacket is ideal for throwing on over a dress this summer and can be paired with black riding pants, boots and an overcoat for breezy, cool fall days.
Bella Luxx’s cropped jacket is a favorite of mine. The light-weight cotton sleeves make this jacket extremely comfortable and fashion-forward. The sleeves combined with a thicker jacket body endows it with a layered vest look (another suburb jacket to layer with coats).
