The Perfect Pair – Isabel Marant And H&M

Isabel Marant For H & M

It’s always nice to have something to look forward to. For me, its November 14th when Isabel Marant for H&M arrives in stores and online. She has long been one of my favorite designers, and the thought of being able to snatch up as many of her designs as I want, has me counting down the days.

On Tuesday H&M twitter fans were given the first glimpse of the collaboration when they tweeted a picture of designer Isabel Marant wearing a flowing black and white print dress and tasselled boots from her upcoming collection (love those boots). Then yesterday they tweeted a pic of a black and white shirt from her first ever menswear collection.

Now that we have had our appetites wetted, it got me curious as to what else the collection will contain. No doubt the line will have a boho-chic vibe, and hopefully will have some of her cropped skinny pants, peasant blouses and embellished jackets. Being that Isabel is a master at creating footwear trends, I can’t wait to see what she does in that department!

Marant summed up the collaboration as follows, “I aim at creating something real–something women want to wear in their everyday lives–with a certain carefree style. I think this is very Parisian: You dress up, but don’t pay too much attention to it, and you still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be combined following one’s own instincts, and my take on fashion is all about personality.”

The collection will feature clothing and accessories for men and women and arrives in stores on November 14. Save the date!!
