Music; it soothes are souls, motivates and pumps us up. It can relax us, connect us and bookmark a place in our life. A few beats of a song can transport us to another place and time.

2012 heard new artists from across the pond and debuts right here at home. There were sophomore album releases along with veteran staples, and artists whose year it was to break out and be noticed. Folk Rock entered the scene in a big way and a guy from down under hit the big times with over 361 million views on youtube.
