Guest Editor Chelsea- Spring’s Hottest Trend: Bright Denim

One of my favorite Spring trends is the splash of bright denim we are seeing everywhere. Designers are pushing the trend so heavily that they may actually become as great a commodity as the ever faithful blue jeans, and as celebrities and Royals (aka. Kate Middleton) become huge fans, it’s time we jump on the band wagon and get ourselves a pair!

When selecting which delicious hue you’ll add to your wardrobe, keep in mind that bright reddish corals are surprisingly one of the more flattering hues —  the color compliments most skin tones. Aqua or a bright blues are incredibly versatile and can easily transition back into a winter wardrobe later this year when paired with chunky sweaters and ankle boots.

*Buyers tip- Level 99 is my favorite go-to brand for anything trendy because their prices are reasonable (insurance- in case the trend doesn’t stick around) and their fit and level of comfort is a solid 10…even compared to the more expensive brands!

Here are my picks for the best fits, colors and most importantly bang for your buck!

Clockwise from top left: Level 99 Janice Skinny in Aqua $118.00,  Level 99 Janice Skinny in Lavendar $118, Joes Jeans Skinny in Lollipop $158.00 and Joes Jeans Skinny in French Blue $158.00. All jeans available at Chelsea Brentwood. 310 471 4770

  1. Great post, I’m also loving all the bright denim we’ve been seeing recently 🙂 haven’t worn plain blue jeans in ages!
